when i was younger, i would daydream while walking from place to place, as people surely do. oftentimes, my daydreams would be about dancing. usually ballet. i would dream about performing a gorgeous dance on a big open stage, tight turns, long extensions, graceful jumps.

sometimes, being so caught up in my reverie, i would jump or twitch, as the dance in my head fought to get out. the other kids would look at me, wondering why the hell i had just broke out with a stiffled little jump or snap of an arm, probably thinking i had some sort of nerve damage.

those sorts of daydreams have been coming back to me. making me think i should take up dance again.
